The $2,000 Pynest Bi-Annual scholarship aims to inspire gifted undergraduate and graduate students from the US and Canada. Every six months, we choose the winner with the best essay and award them $2000 to cover their college tuition and educational expenses.

About the scholarship
Students need to write and submit a written essay to apply
Only one submission per applicant is allowed
Students of all majors and fields of study are welcome to apply
Pynest employees and their relatives are not allowed to apply
The scholarship is non-needs-based
Winners are responsible for paying any federal, state, or local taxes.

Eligibility
To be eligible to participate in our scholarship competition, you must meet all of these criteria:
Residence
You are a United States / Canada citizen or a permanent resident.
Education
You are enrolled in (or accepted and planning to attend) a college or university in the U.S. or Canada for undergraduate or graduate study.
Academic standing
You are in good academic standing at your college or university.

Choose the topic you feel most compelled to write about and explore its influences and recent trends in one or several of these industries: Fintech, Banking, Retail & eCommerce, Insurance, Healthcare, eLearning, Logistics.
Structure
Title:
Create a unique and descriptive title that best describes your essay.
Introduction:
Create an interesting, unique, and engaging introduction that ties with what will be discussed further.
Body:
The body of your essay should be logically structured and broken down into sections with descriptive headings. Including graphs, tables, illustrations, and other visual descriptions is also appreciated.
Conclusion:
Summarize the main points from the text and formulate your final thought.

Length
The essay has to be no less than 1000 words, with no max limit.
Originality
The contents of your essay should be original and not published anywhere else.
We do not accept plagiarized or AI-generated essays. Each essay will be checked for plagiarism and AI, so don’t cheat!
You are welcome to provide relevant and latest facts, research, and statistics to support your narrative. But don’t overdo it — we value your original thoughts and opinions.

To apply for our essay scholarship competition, you need to email us at scholarship@pynest.io with your essay attached and provide the following information:
In the subject field write: “Pynest Scholarship: Your Full Name”
In the body of your email, please include:
Full name (if under 18, parent or guardian name as well)
A few paragraphs about yourself and why you chose your topic.
